Santa came to Ham's house!

COOKIES!!! Guess Honey was on the "nice" list this year. Interesting.

Opening presents is exhausting.

Honey better rest up for the blizzard that is coming our way. She has her sled all ready to go! Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas.

Thank you everyone for your concern! Honey Ham greatly appreciates it.

Honey is maintaining her girlish figure and is still 65 pounds of bulldog beauty. I love when the vet warns that she cannot get any bigger! She got a refill on the eye drops that she had (and I lost). They treat the bacterial thing she has going on which results in some lovely LIME GREEN tear stains! The vet also recommended that she stay on Benadryl for the time being since she may have had an allergic reaction to something which is why her eye swelled.

Aren't bulldogs always allergic to something?

We hope everyone has a great holiday. Honey Ham and the mommy will be spending lots of time cuddling, reading, organizing and cooking over our break!

Goin' To The Doctor

I noticed Honey's eyelid was swollen last night. Nothing too terrible looking but we still want to have it checked. This morning it wasn't any worse which I think is a good thing.

Besides, I think the vet was starting to wonder where we've been (and by we, I mean our $$$). Its only been about 2 months since our last visit. Knock on wood, Honey is a healthy girl!

Honey will wear her Christmas collar. She likes to look cute when she goes to the vet since she never knows who she will run into. We will keep everyone posted.

Ham is my BFF

I love this dog so much! Honey goes everywhere with me and never complains. She is up for whatever I want to do and wherever I want to go. She loves to go exploring with me and you can just tell she is happy when we are somewhere she has never been before.

I'm not kidding when I say she is the best dog ever.

So our plans took a bit of a detour today. We were supposed to help out with a garage sale that got shut down by the police. Long, ridiculous story. So I took Ham for a little drive. Here are some pictures from our trip.

We met a nice man and his dog named Scupper. We loved Scupper.

Ham's Favorite Toy

Honey is obsessed with those blue bouncy racket balls. She can entertain herself for hours with those things! She bounces them all over the house and plays catch...with herself. No participation needed from us.

We are so busy around here. Getting ready for the wedding and all.

But we pulled out the down comforter since the temperatures had dipped over the weekend. Honey is in fluffy, down comforter heaven!

She doesn't need fancy toys, just a handful of some Chipotle napkins to keep her entertained and happy.

I had to take them all away before the shredding and eating of her "toys" started!

Honey's favorite ipone app is the Hipstamatic camera. Its fun and addictive, which is good because Honey loves having her picture taken. Here are a few from the last two days.

Ham On A Health Kick

Maybe its the upcoming wedding, perhaps Honey wants to drop a few lbs. for the big day. Maybe she will just eat anything we give her. But Honey is eating more vegetables (and watermelon!). She likes eating healthy.

I think what Honey really likes is pushing the broccoli off the edge of her chair just so I would pick it up again!

And for the record, broccoli is a MESSY snack. Little green broccoli bits were everywhere!
