Ham Has Fallen

Into a pile of leaves...

These pictures were taken today on our walk.  Ham decided she needed a little rest.  She found the perfect spot...in a pile of leaves...on the street.  Silly Ham.  

Busy Busy

So busy I forgot to post about Honey Ham's apple picking excursion! We went two Sundays ago and it was awesome.  If you are ever looking for a pick your own apple farm we cannot recommend Wrights Farm in Gardiner, NY enough.

When looking for a place to go apple picking we only had two requirements - that they have apples and allow dogs.  Check and check! Tons of apples, acres and acres to roam, skydivers (what?), a great farm stand/market and friendly staff.  We will be making this our new yearly tradition.

They had apples! 

Ham had a tantrum (of course!). 

Ham pretended to be Snow White after eating the poison apple.  

(Drama Queen!)

Ham ran. 

Ham hiked.

Ham enjoyed the gorgeous views. 

Ham spent quality time with her daddy.  I love this picture! 

And when we got home, we had apple pie for dinner.  Homemade, by your's truly and Honey Ham approved! 

We picked two bags of apples and they were all juicy and delicious.  Seriously.  Wrights Farm, worth the trip. Bring the dog! 

Creative Genius

Honey was very busy today.  She thought the light was just right for her to do a little painting outside.   Oh, you did not know Honey Ham is also a fine arts painter?

Of course she can paint! 

Ham's Grandma C got her this paint set a long time ago.  

All the pent up creativity makes Honey Ham a little mouthy.  She has no puppy patience once the creativity strikes. 

I had to do this part.  I let her choose the colors though.  

Such technique! 

Oops!  We forgot our smock! 

Sent off for framing...

Notice where she is...after all that painting, of course she needed a swim! 

Like most things we do, I'm sure this was more fun for me than her.  But that's OK.  

And Grandma C, I hate to ruin the surprise, but Merry Christmas.  You will be getting a Ham original.

Something Stinks

Oh no, someone smells...

We were hanging out on the front lawn when a lady riding her bike pedaled by.  She got a good laugh.  We got nervous, we didn't want her to fall off her bike!

Skunk in the pool!!! 

(Still have a stinky dog though.) 

A Sunday Snack

I'm sorry, are we boring you Honey Ham? 

That's better. 

Now have a snack.
