The highlight for us was seeing how much fun Honey had in the dinghy.  She jumped right in like a champ.  She propped herself on the sides for a bit.  Then she decided she liked riding on the bow, better  to take in all the views.  I think she was also trying to find the perfect spot to get the little bit of spray coming up from the water.  We were going 5MPH at the most!  I know she wanted to jump in - but no marina water for her.  Have you seen the things that float around in a marina?  No thank you. 

We have a real salty sea dog on our hands!  

Ham The Pirate

Ahoy!! Honey makes a good pirate, aye?  She is no bilge rat, she be a beauty!  Coincidentally, she even has her own eye patch.  All she needs is a parrot on her shoulder and maybe a wooden leg.  Shiver Ham's timbers!! 

Permission to come aboard, but wipe ye paws!

What Ham Is Playing With Now

Meet Ham's newest favorite ball.

It was found in a clearance bin at Target the other day.  Amazing that she hasn't popped it yet.  Normally she will pop and destroy a ball within the first three minutes.  Not this one.

We found it on Amazon and were surprised to see several of the reviews mention the balls are used as dogs toys.  Ham has added several more to her Amazon shopping cart! Hopefully we can find more on clearance though.  Only if the ball lasts an entire month might it be worth full price! Only time will tell...

A Honey Ham And Target Collaboration

We got these bulldog salt and pepper shakers this morning from the Target dollar bins.  They were $2.50!  Don't tell Mr. T that we might have purchased two sets (just in case!).  The dollar bins being what they are, we noticed that the salt shaker is missing the bottom stopper piece.  Oh well.  We are thinking of spray painting them a fun color.  Kelly green?  Yellow?  Metallic gold?
Color suggestions appreciated!

We hope one day we can foster for LIBR.   We cannot promise that we won't be failures at it though!
