SAVE THE BULLDOGS!!!

Long Island Bulldog Rescue is an amazing organization. In a nut shell (and copied from their site)...

Long Island Bulldog Rescue is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization

Our mission is to help English Bulldogs through education, prevention, intervention and adoption.

We fulfill our mission by helping, healing, and homing abandoned, neglected, abused, or released English Bulldogs.

And they do an amazing job.

Go take a look at their site. You might cry when you see the evil some are capable of and how these poor dogs have been treated. Just thinking about it makes us sad. You also might cry when you see the good that LIBR performs daily! What is better than a poor, neglected Bulldog getting the love, care and safe home they deserve?

We are posting about this group and also providing a link and some info about the Chase Community Giving because Bulldogs are a breed that is obviously close to our hearts. If LIBR gets enough votes with the Chase Community Giving program they could receive a chunk of change that would help them continue to do the work that they do. You don't even want to know the kinds of vet bills Bulldogs can have!

If you get a chance, we hope you will take a few minutes to look at both pages. Vote for Long Island Bulldog Rescue with Chase Community Giving. If you have some extra bucks you can also donate directly to LIBR through PayPal and major credit cards. There are so many ways you can give and even just a few dollars can cover the cost of simple medicine for a dog.

OK, thats all we have for now. Maybe a sad faced Honey Ham could persuade you some more to help her poor brothers and sisters out there....

  1. Thank God for rescues like LIBR and others like it! We got Ozzie from the MidAtlantic Bulldog rescue in NJ. These folks all do amazing work and are worth our support!

  2. Its our goal to one day be able to foster and adopt. Especially knowing what we know now - how could we not?
