This year (and especially summer) needs to slow it down! Happy June!

June is a good month.  Ham is thrilled that there are only 6 school days left till summer vacation can officially start.  This means that Ham's days can be spent fully enjoying the sun and pool under the adult supervision of the Mommy.  Weather permitting of course.

 Pass the sunscreen please!

Disclaimer:  Most bulldogs cannot tolerate the heat.  We do not leave Honey outside unattended and we CLOSELY monitor her at all times.  A bulldog can overheat in no time and that is a very scary thought.  It is better to be safe than sorry.  We hope all our bulldog friends stay cool! 

Memorial Day Weekend

We were lucky to spend this Memorial Day weekend on the water.   Sadly, Ham stayed home in the air conditioning.  We had a great view of the Jones Beach air show from our floating spot in Zach's Bay.

Maybe next year Ham.  We are trying to figure out the best and most comfortable way to get ham on the boat with us.  She has her puppy life vest all ready to go...all paws on deck!

And because Memorial Day isn't really about BBQ's or boats or pools, we are taking time to remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and to give thanks to those who have put themselves in harm's way so the rest of us can enjoy our freedom.

Make that great news...tomorrow is FRIDAY!

We hope everyone has a relaxing weekend!  If you are a Long Island person there is a great event happening in Port Jeff.

Come join Long Island Bulldog Rescue at the Port Jeff Adoption Festival and Art walk. Lots of rescue groups on hand with their adoptable pets.... come get smooched at the LIBR Kissing Booth. Raffles, Food, Music, Fun, and lots and lots of homeless pets looking for their forever homes! 

Two of the best things together in one event - pets and art! We are going to see if we can make it over there to say hi to some of our bulldog friends. You should go check it out!

No breaks allowed!  Stand still long enough and she will force you back to work.

So it is back to work we go...we will let our little interrupter get some rest.
