Winter Wishes

We have taken a little break from our adventures this month. We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and holiday...see you in 2012!

Don't You Just Love Leaves?

Here is Ham, having a full on tantrum in a huge pile of leaves while on our walk this morning.

Enjoy!

It's Thanksgiving Time

Honey Ham is napping in the sun in preparation for her feast later.

Between naps, Ham engages in some ball aerobics to work off all that stuffing!

We are thankful for so much this year and wish everyone a happy, warm, food-filled Thanksgiving!

Honey Ham - A Well Read Bulldog

Please take the time to read The New York Times article - Can the Bulldog Be Saved? by Benoit Denizet-Lewis. We know its long, but there is a lot of important information in those pages. Especially important if someone out there is thinking about adding a bulldog to their family.

We like to think (and hope) that Honey Ham is an exception to all the issues and concerns reported in this article. She does swim after all.

No, we mean REAL swimming!

She is athletic and seems to have no major breathing issues.

See, a hiking bulldog!

We knock on wood that she has a long, happy and healthy life with us.

Forever. Times a million.

Ham's Holiday Wish List

Since it is that time of year, and Honey Ham has been oh-so-good (no naughtiness over here!), here are a few things Honey Ham would love to receive should you feel so inclined.

1. Obviously, we need this.

2. A Bulldog Blueprint from here.

3. Of course, this will need central air installed. Experience sticker shock here.

4. Is this more realistic?

5. And how about a little something for our creative side.

6. Though a nice donation to Long Island Bulldog Rescue in Honey Ham's name would be just as great as any present on this list!

Can you find the Ham?

New Couch, New Opportunities

Well, not exactly a new couch. See that rip on the arm there? Thanks dogs! But we did move the couch in front of Honey's beloved bay window. Its the window where she spends most of the day watching the world go by. No matter, she always finds a way. I think she likes the new spot.
