Ham On The Road

Here are some pictures of Honey Ham the copilot from our trip upstate over Halloween weekend. The trip was a good time and Honey just LOVES upstate. The only thing she doesn't love is having to be tied up whenever we are outside. TOO BAD HONEY! There is way too much land for you to get into trouble on, and its hunting season. We don't want anyone to mistake you for a large pig, or cow or bear or some other poor animal to shoot!

1/2 Bulldog + 1/2 Pig = Honey Ham

Honey is half pig. We are 100% convinced. Never mind that her middle name is "Ham," but she also snorts, has a piglet-like tail, eats like a pig and looks a bit pig-ish with her nose.

Another of Honey's pig characteristics is that she wallows in mud as pigs are known to do. That is probably her least cute pig characteristic. OK, so maybe its a little cute to see her rolling around and splashing and playing in a mud puddle. However, having to hose her down and then give her a bath to clean off the mud (and horse poop) mixture that was caked on her pig body was NOT fun, or cute. See the piggy pics below.

The Good News

Well, Honey Ham did not go camping last weekend due to the craptastic weather. BUT...the good news is we will be going upstate Halloween weekend! We are leaving Friday after everyone is done with work. Honey loves a road trip!!

One of Honey's boyfriends has an amazing house with lots of land for Honey to play on up by Lake George. (Notice I said boyfriends - Honey has lots of them). Well Poppa Bear (Honey's #1 boyfriend) invited her. This is her second time going up there - she went just a few weekends ago and LOVED it!

She will pack her puppy backpack and her squirrel costume and go.

** I originally wrote this blog entry on October 23rd - Mr. T's birthday. I'm only getting around to posting it now. I wanted to let all of Honey Ham's friends know what a thoughtful puppy she is. Honey left her daddy a very special birthday present that morning in the den, but he didn't get to see it. You can probably guess what her little "gift" was. Luckily, since I get up so early I got her "gift" before anyone else did!**

The Outdoorsham

Honey Ham is getting ready for our camping trip next weekend (weather permitting) and she has her little puppy-pack ready to go. She packed some first aid supplies and her Benadryl. She will probably put some snacks in there before we go - she won't travel without her Puperoni!

Honey had her Halloween costume fitting this weekend. She is a squirrel. She wanted to be a lobster, but they didn't have her size.
